General Information Regarding Optional Tours
Children
Child prices stated apply to children aged between 4 and 14 years inclusive. Adult fares apply to persons 15 years and over. Children 3 years and under are free if not occupying a seat (ie must sit in parent’s/carer’s lap). If a seat is required, child fare applies.
Courtesy Hotel Pick-Up
Pick-ups from selected hotels can be arranged on request. Please indicate your hotel when booking your tour. Full details regarding your booking will be provided to you prior to the tour.
Booking Information
Bookings are being taken for tours on the following dates, Wednesday 30 November – Sunday 4 December 2011. The option to register for the tours is included on the registration form. Please indicate your preferred optional tour attendance when registering for the Congress.
Bookings can be made through WALDRONSMITH Management, the Meeting Secretariat, up until Monday 14 November 2011. From Monday 14 November 2011 onwards bookings are to be made direct with the tour company – please contact the Congress Secretariat on +61 3 9645 6311 or wrh2011@wsm.com.au for details.
Tour Cancellations
In the event that a reservation is cancelled, the following cancellation fees apply:
- Cancellation more than 7 days before departure 50% of total cost
- Cancellation less than 7 days before departure 100% of total cost
Terms and Conditions
These tours are offered by WALDRONSMITH Management, the Congress Secretariat. The tours are based on scheduled public tours, and are not offered exclusively for participants and accompanying persons attending the Congress. All sightseeing tours include informative English speaking commentary, all entry fees and meals where specified. Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended for all tours. For any outdoor tours we recommend that participants bring sun protection cream, sunhat and sunglasses.
