Professor Yoshi Morimoto

Professor Yoshiharu Morimoto is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of IVF JAPAN group which includes two big infertility centres of IVF Namba Clinic and IVF Osaka Clinic running 6,000 periods of IVF cycles in total. In his centres, the integrated medicine including alternative medicine such as oriental medicine and exercise, psychological therapy and instruction by dietician is conjugated with advance modern technology. His group is also active in the field of fertility preservation and cryopreservation of ovarian tissue, follicles and oocytes are studied.

He is also a visiting Professor of Pochon CHA University and an invited Professor of Saint Marianna University and Associate Professor in Kyoto University and Kansai Medical University. He raduated from Kansai Medical University in 1977, was national board certified and obtained a degree of PhD in 1987. He is active in research area and his main research field is ultrastructure in reproduction and concerns on oocyte maturation mechanism.

Professor Morimoto is the President of Japan Society of Assisted Reproduction and former president of Japan Society of Fertilization and Implantation, and the President of the Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE).
